I LOVE PARIS IN THE RAIN

I had a French teacher in high school who often wore head-to-toe leopard.

When I was younger I went to a Regina Spektor concert to southern Sweden.

It started to rain but what did we care.

We missed the plane home.

I've never been to Paris.

But since it's raining the whole July in Finland, I better stock up on candles, Sagan novels and red wine.

Fix my camera. Listen to a whole deal of the new Regina Spektor album.

Some of the songs are old favorites of mine.

Thanks to a friend who burned some live songs to a cd years ago.

Time flies like a leopard on the run, remember to catch it while you can.

LONG WAY 2 GO

Sometimes when things go awry, I close my eyes and imagine that the universe is an endless mid-tempo rnb song where everything is nice and everyone is wearing really hideous jeans.

It works like magic for about 15 seconds.

Then you have to snap out of it because hey, tough life, and you want to get going again.

Not get stuck because bad jeans stop being funny at some point.

CASSI

It's a beautiful rainy day, perfect for reading a Murakami novel or two but unfortunately I'm sick and can only handle the season 5 of Australia's Next Top Model.

Which is fine because of the runner-up Cassi.

More soup for me now...

THEY SEE ME ROLLIN

If you can't afford the 1.6 million dollar vintage Ferrari in the previous post, a brand college is a good option for the white, poor and nerdy...

HEY YOU REMEMBER ME

Photos by Karoliina

Spent the last week in this and with The Echo Friendly, Haim and Fallulah.

And the entire range of human emotions.

I'm rolling over to the greener side, not asking anyone's permission, having my hands in the air while the wind caresses my hair.

It's not about is the cup half full or half empty.

If you ponder that in your head you are fucked.

Just go out there, finish your drink and do your best.

You have everything you need in your life, okay?

Okay.

Though everything is a mess, all is well. Strange paradox, to be sure. But, tragically, most people never get to see that all is well because they are asleep. They are having a nightmare. - Anthony de Mello
