Resort, resort, resort. I've got favorites. First of all, yes, I am going to jump in the Alexander Wang bandwagon. It's a lot easier to like the resort collections and such - you don't have question yourself
Is this taking fashion anywhere? because these collections are meant to sell, gather the past seasons popular stuff togheter and leave the new silhouettes for the next, "real" collection. Shame on those designers trying to make money etc. Seriously, in the times of recession...what is it anyway? Not for me honey, not for me.
I love how resort collections are presented. This
is a runway and I
am walking. Yeah, we get it, it's all about the clothes, no extra fuss needed. That's why
Stella McCartney with her picnic presentation made me happy. Garden party! Though I hate the bags below with a passion. Luckily the last shoes make it all up.

Alexander Wang. I'm fifty fifty on this, but the ensembles below...I want them in my life now. That's all. Except the last fringe-jacket because I've got similar one already. The clothes themselves are pretty basic altogheter, so I hope the quality is good or otherwise we could all just go to H&M and live happily ever after. This collections lookbook is pretty stale, so I'm glad style.com has the presentation.

Calvin Klein was generally amazing too, not to mention
Francisco Costa got CFDA's Womenswear Designer of the Year. Good for him, everything is spectacular but it's not my favorite resort collection. That goes out to
Helmut Lang, designed by
Michael and Nicole Colovos . Yeah yeah yeah, the quality is not right for the price, there are other labels that do the same but better, it's not like Helmut Lang used to be and on top of it all they use past seasons
Jil Sander shoes. I'm going to wipe that all away because this collection with its presentation gives me inspiration. I'd wear ANY of the outfits, preferably all of them any day, preferably every day. They'd get me closer to god.
