extreme fluctuations and temperature changes have known to crack pipes

Here is a poem performed by Adrian Mitchell that I found from one of my weird LP's.

Sorry 'Bout That

When man first flew beoynd the sky
He looked back into the world's blue eye
Man said
What makes your eyes so blue?
The Earth said
The tears in the oceans do
Why the sea is so full of tears?
Because I've wepped so many years
Why do you weep as you dance through space?
Because I am the mother of the human race

This picture was taken with a camera phone back in May, in an art (contemporary) museum. The background is a short film, I don't remember what was it about, or was it only a waterfall. I'm wearing second hand.

I know a five years is a long time and that times change, but I think you'll find people are basically the same.

The third model I'm rooting for in 2008 is actually from 2003, there just happens to be models who do Armani campaign and Calvin Klein runway and decide to put the career on hiatus to finish studies. Her name is Iris Strubegger, she originates from Austria and is now back on the scene, with Supreme backing her. These days when everyone is looking back to 90s, her face offers the same kind of clean and sharp look. It works.

Though being with Supreme is the key to the success, her mother agency is Place Models in London and in Paris she is with Women. So what comeback then? Well, for SS08 she did only one show, and that was opening Dries Van Noten. Paul Rowland chose her to POPs' editorial "Arrivals" featuring the most wanted new faces. She did Valentinos' Pre-Fall 2008 presentation. The word has it that she is doing only the best editorials. Don't you just want her to do well?

I've chosen these Place snaps because I feel the Supreme polas, even though they are very cool, don't do anything for her. I don't want to see lots of hair covering a face like hers! So why am I so drawn to her? Well, she reminds me a bit of my favorite model Querelle, who is starting studies to become a social worker...their looks are special, strong and intresting. Most of all, her look is timelessly cool. I don't even care about not knowing her age, it's so irrelevant in a case like this. Lets see what 2008 has in store for her!

Silent Russian, Part Deux

This is a scan provided by Mirik, from Russian L'Officiel, featuring Russian designer Tatyana Parfionovas SS08 collection. The dress is modeled by Lyoka Tyagnereva, who apparently is 22 or 23. I'm comfortable with that. I also want to know more about this designer, search engines are wonderful.
